After School Program
The after school program will be in session from time of dismissal (11:30 AM) until 6:00 PM.
If your child does not normally attend the after school program on Fridays, and you are in need of care after the 11:30 AM dismissal time, please call us at 412 221-1980 and let us know. We can make arrangements for you.
District Kindergarten and K-Plus Program
The district will be holding PM kindergarten in the morning on this day (No AM Kindergarten) and dismissing PM kindergarten children at 11:30 AM to ride buses home.
EDS will be holding PM K-Plus in the morning on this day (No AM K-Plus) and dismissing PM K-Plus children at 11:30 AM to ride buses home.
If your kindergarten child normally attends the afterschool program on this day, he will stay with us for the afterschool program, which will begin at 11:30 AM on this day.
If your kindergarten child does NOT normally attend the after school program on this day, and you are in need of care after the 11:30 AM dismissal time, please call us at 412 221-1980 and let us know. We can make arrangements for you.

SF Spring Art Class - Abrakadoodle - Registration Deadline - March 6! 
Abrakadoodle will be offering art classes each Wednesday during the after school program. Classes will run each Wednesday from March 11-April 15 from 4-5 PM. The cost is $60 for the six week session. SF In-Service Day - March 27- Jewart's Gymnastics/Climb North Rock Climbing Wall
Families must sign-up in advance for any in-service day they would like to attend. You will receive a sign-up email prior to the in-service day or you may click here to sign-up now. (If you sign-up for the day, you will be required to pay for the day, regardless of whether you attend the day.)
Day: Friday, March 27 (Sign-up deadline is Tues, March 17)
Time: We are open from 7:00 AM-6:00 PM. Please be at South Fayette Elementary School by 11:00 AM. We will return about 5:00 PM.
Place: South Fayette Elementary School.
Cost: There is a $33 tuition charge per child for the full-day in-service day. An additional charge of $13 per child will appear on your statement to cover the cost of the field trip and transportation. All children who attend EDS on this day will be going on the field trip.
Dress: Comfortable clothing and plain yellow EDS T-shirt (if your child does not have one yet, we will give him one, and a $5 T-shirt charge will appear on your statement)
Bring: Please pack your child's lunch in a plastic bag (ziploc or grocery bag). Children will NOT need backpacks or spending money.

SF Staff Development Delay Day - March 30
March 30 will be a staff development delay morning. If your child is enrolled in the before school program on Mondays, we will be extending the morning program on these days to accommodate the morning delay. Therefore, the before school program will run from 7:00 AM until the beginning of the school day at 11:00 AM. These delay mornings will carry can extra $7 charge for the additional hours.
We regret that if your child is not normally enrolled on Monday mornings, we will not be able to add these staff delay days to your child's schedule as an "extra morning" due to staffing constraints. If you wish to add Monday mornings to your child's schedule on a permanent basis, please call the office at 412 221-1980. |

Our voice mail answers 24 hours a day. If we do not receive notice that your child will be absent on an afternoon that he or she is scheduled to attend, you will be charged a $10 no call fee.
We cannot allow children to go anywhere but to the program if they are scheduled to be with us and we have not been notified by a parent or authorized guardian. We must enforce this policy for the safety of all the children. |
